Prof Sani Abubakar Mashi is a specialist in the environmental application of remote sensing and the current Director-General / CEO Nigerian Meteorological Agency. He is the Permanent Representative of Nigeria and Member of Executive Council to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). He was previously the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), University of Abuja. He is currently a Member Technical Advisory Council, National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA). He also served as the Coordinator (Director-General) and Chief Executive of the Abuja Metropolitan Management Council.  Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika has promised to ensure that the persons with disabilities are accorded all rights and support at the nation airports in accordance with the provisions of Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities Act. The Minister gave the assurance when the Executive Director, Centre for Citizen with Disabilities, David Ayaele and his team paid him a courtesy visit in his office. He said equipment and facilities that will help the movement of persons with disability at the airports would be provided, adding that no form of discrimination and mistreatment of persons with disabilities at the nation’s airports would be tolerated henceforth.  AIRPORTS Council International (ACI) has accredited three of Nigeria’s International Airports, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja, Port Harcourt International Airport Omagwa and Murtala Muhammed international Airport Lagos in its Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Health Accreditation Programme.
