PROF.. SANI MASHI'S BIOGRAPHY

 Prof Sani Abubakar Mashi is a specialist in the environmental application of remote sensing and the current Director-General / CEO Nigerian Meteorological Agency. He is the Permanent Representative of Nigeria and Member of Executive Council to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). He was previously the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), University of Abuja. He is currently a Member Technical Advisory Council, National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA). He also served as the Coordinator (Director-General) and Chief Executive of the Abuja Metropolitan Management Council. Prof Sani Abubakar Mashi was born on the 27th of February 1964 in katsina, katsina state, Nigeria. HADI SIRIKA ASSURES PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES OF RIGHTS PROTECTION, FACILITATION AT AIRPORTS.

 Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika has promised to ensure that the persons with disabilities are accorded all rights and support at the nation airports in accordance with the provisions of Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities Act. The Minister gave the assurance when the Executive Director, Centre for Citizen with Disabilities, David Ayaele and his team paid him a courtesy visit in his office. He said equipment and facilities that will help the movement of persons with disability at the airports would be provided, adding that no form of discrimination and mistreatment of persons with disabilities at the nation’s airports would be tolerated henceforth. The Minister further directed all airline operators in Nigeria to ensure that persons with disabilities are accorded all rights and support in the course of their travels. Nigeria’s airports NAIA, PHIA, MMIA get ACI Health accreditation certificate

 AIRPORTS Council International (ACI) has accredited three of Nigeria’s International Airports, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja, Port Harcourt International Airport Omagwa and Murtala Muhammed international Airport Lagos in its Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Health Accreditation Programme. The Airport health accreditation programme is designed to assess how aligned airports health measures are with the ACI Aviation Business Restart and Recovery guidelines and ICAO Council Aviation Restart Task Force recommendations along with industry best practices. Both the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Port Harcourt International Airport and Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos have become the 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively to be accredited in this programme.  The Honourable Minister of Aviation disclose this earlier today at the event “2021 Seasonal Climate Prediction: Supporting the Economy Cope with the Challenges of COVID-19 Global Pandemic in Nigeria” organized by Nigerian Metrological Agency in Abuja.
